Fall Festival

November 3rd from 3-6 pm

Our annual Fall Festival will be held Saturday, Nov. 3rd! This is a FREE event to bless the people in the Cedar Creek community. Please join us for an afternoon of fun and meet some new friends!

Carnival games, a train ride, good food, face painting, and raffle prizes are some of the fun things you'll find at the Festival.

We need more people to help run the games and there is a sign up sheet in the back of the sanctuary to pick the game you would like to run! There will also be a chili contest to kick off the event. At 3:00 we will judge the chili entries and award a $25 gift card to the winner!

This is a community event, please feel free to spread the word and invite your friends and family. We will also have fliers available soon!

Gift Boxes for Brodie Ranch Rehab and Nursing Facility

Collection Deadline- Nov. 25th

Help New Life in Christ bring a little joy and Christmas to the residents at the Brodie Ranch Rehab and Nursing Facility in Austin, TX.  NLIC's children's director Barbara Hickman works at the facility as a Respiratory Therapist. She has organized this fun giving project as a physical way we can share God's love with the residents!

We would like to make a shoe box gift for as many residents as possible. There are 110 beds at this facility (not all beds are filled) and the resident's ages range from 30's to 90+ years old.  Boxes can be generic for a male or female.  The children of NLIC will be helping to assemble the boxes so bulk items are encouraged. Anything you donate will be greatly appreciated by the residents! You can add a little each week or fill an entire box yourself.

Please try to choose things with scents that are light or scent free, any edibles (such as candies, cookies, snack crackers, etc.) can be with or without sugar. There are  a lot of residents that deal with diabetes, but not all do. Also, low sodium is always a better choice for these residents.

Our church children's choir Stepping Stones Singers will be performing some christmas selections at the facility on the day we distrubute the boxes. Everyone is welcome to join us that day (no date is set yet) as we bring a little cheer to the residents.
